Insurance and Fees

Every orthodontic case is different and fees will vary. Once we know the type of orthodontic treatment you require, we can explain the exact fee, and determine approximately how much of that fee is covered by your insurance. We 'll review these factors to determine how we can make the fees affordable for you.

Co-payments and Payment Plans

Since orthodontic insurance usually covers only part of the total fee, you are responsible for paying the remaining balance. This co-payment is the patient's portion of the of the orthodontic fee. Our office requires you to make a down payment on your co-payment portion, an amount usually between 20%-25% of the total treatment cost.

We want to make your co-payment as easy as possible. Our practice offers several payment options to make your orthodontic treatment convenient and affordable. We recognize that treatment is an additonal expense for our patients or their parents. Fortunately, the treatment timeframe for the typicial orthodontic case makes it convenient for almost all patients to meet their co-payments.

Orthobanc and CareCredit

Orthobanc and CareCredit are two great options for paying for orthodontics expenses that your insurance provider might not cover. Both offer low or no interest plans with low monthly payments and no annual fees. For more information click on the links below.
